Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working and friendly Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, while also assisting with running food for the front of house, ensuring a smooth and timely service for our guests. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who enjoys both back-of-house and front-of-house tasks.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a clear and clean cafe - clearing dishes; sweeping up any debris; ensuring furniture is all tidy etc. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware Disposing of trash and recyclables properly Taking food to tables, with a knowledge of the menu products thus able to answer any customer questions Making customers feel welcomed and valued, helping with any queries or issues Collaborating with team members and help wherever needed to achieve store goals Following all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:

Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members A genuine care for creating awesome customer experiences Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
