Responsibilities



Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling ingredients, and organizing supplies to support chefs and kitchen staff Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Serve tables and clear dining areas promptly during service to maintain a clean and inviting environment for customers Support the serving team by delivering food to tables when needed and assisting with general hospitality duties Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently to uphold the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods

Requirements



Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling safety standards and basic kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and customers Willingness to undertake physical tasks such as lifting supplies, standing for extended periods, and cleaning duties Experience with food service is advantageous but not mandatory A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in all areas of the kitchen

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
