Job Description

The Sun Wharf is our new open pub located in London Bridge Station. We open our doors to customers on 30th September 2025.

The role will fully commence the week starting 22nd September with full on the job training. Before this there will be an in-person Station Induction and online training courses to prepare you for work.

Please be aware that this pub opens at 6.30am to customers so morning shifts will be starting from 4am. The pub will serve food until 11pm, so latest work shifts will finish at 1am. Staff should make sure that they have transport to get to work to fit these times.

The role



At a glance, your role is to work as part of a team to prepare and cook food and to help to keep the kitchen running smoothly, all while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service.



Our pubs open early and close late, so we offer great flexibility with shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.



Duties include:



preparing, cooking and presenting food to the correct spec operating kitchen work stations, including grills, fryers, microwaves and more working as a team to keep to time and quality targets following food hygiene and allergen, as well as health and safety, standards cleaning as you go, including full kitchen clean-downs rotating stock and storing food safely completing required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
