Overview


We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties



Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health regulations Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking processes as directed by senior chefs or supervisors Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff members Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Organise ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Contribute to the overall organisation of the kitchen environment, ensuring it remains safe and tidy

Requirements



Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required A genuine interest in meal preparation, food presentation, and serving customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 18,315.00-29,346.20 per year
