Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with health regulations Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks as directed by senior chefs or supervisors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner Help with stock organisation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a professional kitchen environment is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene protocols is desirable Experience in meal preparation, serving, or general kitchen duties will be considered a plus Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the culinary field and working as part of a team
