Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our dedicated team at Minster Lodge Care Home in the heart of our community. This role is vital in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen. Assist with meal planning and preparation for special events. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. Serve meals to residents and ensure a pleasant dining experience. Clean kitchen equipment and work areas regularly. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in catering or kitchen environments. Strong cooking skills with knowledge of food safety regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. Passion for providing high-quality service to residents. Previous experience in meal preparation is an advantage. Familiarity with dietary restrictions is a plus.
