Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support the cooking process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including sanitising work surfaces and equipment
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling, and measuring
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Serve meals to customers or assist in serving areas as required
Restock supplies and organise storage areas for efficiency
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
A genuine interest in culinary arts and food service industry standards
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
