We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen manager to run our rugby club kitchen on senior and Junior match days. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, be committed and hard working and have good organisational skills. This role involves various kitchen tasks, including meal preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Some kitchen experience would be needed, but full training will be given.
We are primarily looking for someone that is available to work Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings, if you are only able to commit to one of these days we would still love to hear from you.

Duties
include
You would be expected to take the lead in running our small kitchen with the help of an assistant.
Cook and present wholesome tasty meals to players post match
Cook to order food from our breakfast and lunch menu.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food served
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Participate in catering events as required, preparing finger buffets (optional occasional extra days)
Support inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on cooking and meal preparation
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards - training will be given.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
A team player who communicates well with colleagues and contributes positively to the work environment.
Able to use own initiative and sometimes work alone.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.00-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
