Overview

We are seeking dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team in our hybrid cafe bakery. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service and maintaining our excellent reputation. You will be responsible for supporting daily food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Previous restaurant Or cafe experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards and presentation expectations Support the serving team occasionally by delivering food to tables Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal Handle food safely according to established health and safety regulations Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed and particularly at the end of the service Support event setups by preparing ingredients and organizing serving stations Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service Follow all food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about culinary operations and hospitality services
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 24 per week
