Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Cook menu items according to established recipes and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Assist with catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests. Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed, including dishwashing and inventory management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and meal preparation, with an eagerness to learn new skills. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
