Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our Restaurant team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Your passion for food and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our customers.

Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as per recipes and menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Support the Restaurant team in catering events and special occasions, helping to prepare meals that meet customer expectations. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all dishes are prepared in a hygienic environment. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely meal service. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or Takeaway environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Familiarity with a fast paced kitchen team is preferable A passion for food and a desire to develop skills in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.50-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
