Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Ensure all food is stored correctly and safely, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to ensure it meets our high standards. Participate in regular cleaning schedules and uphold hygiene practices throughout the kitchen. Support inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Attention to detail, particularly regarding food presentation and safety standards. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques. Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
