We are Wine the Noodles, a brand-new Taiwanese Beef Noodle Bar & Restaurant, opening in Bayswater, London at the end of October! We will be serving authentic Taiwanese specialities, including but not limited to:

A signature series of Beef Noodles Taiwanese Fried Chicken (Yan Su Ji). Traditional Taiwanese Lu Wei (soy-braised delicacies). And a beloved classic - a Night Market-style Charcoal Grill series, bringing the true taste of Taiwanese streets to London.
Step inside and be transported to Taiwan. We've invested in a stunning, authentic Taiwanese seafood restaurant ambience. Our 100-cover ground floor dining area features a large, live seafood tank, offering the freshest catches.

We also boast an exclusive VIP private dining room for up to 16 people, perfect for karaoke, electronic mahjong, and special occasions. This space offers a full Taiwanese "Banquet" Set Menu and customised dining experiences. Our owner and executive chef, who brings over 37 years of life in Taiwan and experience running three successful restaurants there, is passionate about showcasing the very best of authentic and modern Taiwanese cuisine in the UK.

Overview


We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our vibrant culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities



Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Engage in food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Participate in catering events as required, showcasing your culinary skills in diverse settings. Support the team in serving meals efficiently and with attention to presentation. Continuously learn and apply best practices in food handling and kitchen operations.

Requirements



Previous experience in a kitchen environment and relevant experience working in Asian restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
