Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Support the kitchen team in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen operations. Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is preferred. A background in meal preparation or catering will be considered an asset. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role. A genuine interest in cooking and the culinary arts will be highly regarded.
