We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, food safety, and serving. Your passion for cooking and commitment to quality will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Support the catering team in delivering high-quality service for events and functions. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Provide excellent service by assisting with food presentation and serving when required.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles in catering or restaurants. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential. Culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for cooking and an understanding of various cuisines is highly valued. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
