This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to meal preparation, food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support catering operations by preparing food for events as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages. Engage positively with customers when serving food, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is an advantage. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
