Kitchen Staff
Job Description
This position is perfect for a person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We're looking for someone who is punctual and dependable, and is willing to work flexible hours to support his or her team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food items from our menu, serving customers face-to-face as well as dealing with deliveries, and cleaning up after his or her shift.
Responsibilities:
Follow the appropriate safety measures and procedures.
Follow the recipes and procedures as required.
Prepare food according to customers' needs and preferences.
Prepare food in a timely manner.
Be able to work under pressure.
Work between the hours of 6pm and 12am weekdays and 6pm to 4am weekends.
Wear appropriate clothing and apron.
This is to work in a burger-van inspired takeaway outlet, preparing quality food as quickly as possible. Food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential; and experience in a catering/kitchen environment is preferred but full training will be given.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour

Newport NP20 1FU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Catering: 1 year (preferred)
Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) (preferred)
Work Location: In person
