We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food, catering, and delivering excellent service. The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation and presentation of meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Support catering events by preparing ingredients and serving food as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Help with the storage and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste.
Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
You must have a valid Food Hygiene / Health & Safety certificate and kitchen experience.
Pizza experience is a big plus.
Till and cash-handling experience required.
Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers.
Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service operations.
