Duties

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks to ensure timely service Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Support catering operations as needed, ensuring high-quality service for events Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Serve food to customers when required, providing excellent customer service

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Strong culinary experience with knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Familiarity with catering services is an advantage Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues A proactive approach to problem-solving in a busy kitchen setting
