We're looking for reliable, hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our team and help deliver consistently high standards in our busy kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Assist chefs with preparing ingredients and dishes, including vegetables, meats, and accompaniments for the carvery.
Carvery Support: Help set up and maintain the carvery station -- keeping it clean, stocked, and visually appealing throughout service.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (following HACCP guidelines).
Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers, wash pots and utensils, and ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
Stock & Storage: Receive, check, and store deliveries appropriately; rotate stock to minimize waste.
Teamwork: Support the Head Chef and other team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service.
Health & Safety: Follow all relevant safety procedures, wearing correct PPE and reporting any hazards immediately.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a pub, restaurant, or carvery kitchen.
Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or higher).
Interest in developing culinary skills or progressing in hospitality.
