We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supervising food production, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and fostering a positive work environment within the kitchen.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and dining area.
Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Support the team during peak service times by assisting with cooking, plating, or bartending as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a cook or in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards.
Familiarity with food production processes and inventory management.
A passion for culinary arts with the ability to inspire creativity within the team.
Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
