Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation and production. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours. Handle any customer feedback or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes. Experience as a cook or in a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry. Familiarity with bartending is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments. A passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

Pay: 13.11-13.30 per hour
