We are seeking a confident and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our cosy cafe . As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of quality homemade food.
Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and ready for cooking.
Support cooking processes by following recipes and adhering to portion control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils and equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to guarantee a safe experience.
Collaborate with team members to efficiently serve meals during busy periods, contributing to a positive atmosphere.
Contribution towards outside catering events and buffets.
Engage with customers with a friendly and warm attitude.
(please note we are open 365 days a year, shifts can include; weekends, bank holidays (which will include christmas day depending on the need of the business))
Skills
Level 2 food and hygiene required.
Previous cafe/kitchen experience is highly desirable, providing a foundation for understanding kitchen dynamics.
Be able to adapt in the kitchen and cook new food.
Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, fostering collaboration among kitchen staff for seamless service delivery.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
