Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that components are assembled accurately and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Duties
Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area within the warehouse.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the warehouse.
Requirements
Proven experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical capability to lift, move, and assemble components as required.
Previous experience in assembly or related roles is desirable but not essential.
