Would you be interested in an opportunity to contribute and influence the strategic development of clinical skills teaching and assessment within a Medical School? As Lecturer in Simulation
you can expect to be involved in:
Providing academic oversight and ensuring consistent implementation of high-fidelity simulation scenarios (e.g., ABCDE assessments) across multiple NHS partner sites
Lead the delivery of all GMC-mandated procedural skills within campus and placement-based learning
Conduct site visits to support local teaching teams and maintain quality assurance standards
Contributing to and influencing preparations for effective internal and external academic quality and governance processes and systems, including those associated with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies
What will you bring to the role?
A primary and postgraduate degree in a medical specialty or in a subject closely related to the KMMS BMBS programme
Experience of successful simulation teaching and evaluation
Experience and understanding of teaching clinical skills in healthcare education
Understanding of current issues in undergraduate medical education
Experience of and commitment to academic leadership and management
