Duties

Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking and presentation Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and plating Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and surfaces Organise storage areas to ensure ingredients and supplies are easily accessible Support serving staff during meal service, including delivering orders when required Follow health and safety standards diligently to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with stock control by monitoring inventory levels and notifying management of shortages Contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests through professional conduct

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary A genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality industries
