Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking KP / Pot Wash to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an eagerness to learn within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Duties

Ensure all kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are washed and sanitised promptly to maintain hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including floors, surfaces, and equipment. Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods by providing necessary assistance. Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed. Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality. Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs. Pay: 7.55-12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
