Sandford St Martin's CE VA Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and skilled KS1 teacher as soon as possible to teach one of our mixed age Year 1/2 classes. The role is for 14.3hrs per week (8.45am - 3.15pm Thursday - Friday, with paid PPA time at 10% of contract)

for an initial 1 year contract from September 2025 to August 2026.





We are looking to appoint a teacher who is committed and passionate when it comes to teaching and nurturing children well. Our school is big on relationships so you need to be approachable, friendly and have strong teamwork skills alongside genuine passion for supporting children to be their best. Keeping Children Safe in Education



The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
