Summary
Ackton Pastures Primary Academy are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher and Early Years Teacher to join our teaching team, this role is vital in shaping the educational experiences of children and supporting our mission to provide outstanding learning opportunities within our schools.

Curriculum Delivery:
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons and learning activities across the full
Primary curriculum
, catering effectively to the needs of pupils from
Early Years (EYFS) through Key Stage 2 (KS2)

Classroom Culture:
Manage classroom behavior positively and effectively to foster a stimulating, safe, and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive and are motivated to learn.
Assessment & Tracking:
Utilise a range of observation, formative, and summative
assessment
strategies to monitor, evaluate, and accurately record pupils' progress against relevant curriculum standards.
Partnership:
Collaborate
effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure continuity in learning and development, providing appropriate support and feedback on pupil progress.
Inclusion & Diversity:
Design and implement learning experiences that are
inclusive
and challenge all learners, celebrating diversity and promoting mutual respect across the school community.
Development:
Contribute actively to the wider life of the school, participating in school improvement planning and the ongoing development of
pedagogical practice
and schemes of work.
Safeguarding:
Maintain a secure and well-organized classroom environment, ensuring all school policies, particularly those relating to
safeguarding
and health and safety, are rigorously implemented.
Qualifications
Required Qualification:
Possession of
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
or equivalent, with specific experience or training covering both
Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Early Years (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1)
.
Curriculum Knowledge:
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the
National Curriculum and the EYFS Framework
, and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively to lesson planning and assessment.
Classroom Management:
Proven ability to apply
strong, positive behavior management strategies
and exceptional organizational skills suitable for a diverse age range.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication,
teamwork
, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong working relationships with staff, pupils, and families.
