About the role
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across core subjects, with a particular focus on preparing pupils for 11+ entrance exams. You will play a key role in nurturing each child's academic, social, and emotional development, both in and outside the classroom. You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom management, and provide pastoral care to your class. You'll also contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues, while keeping parents informed and engaged in their child's learning journey.
This is a permanent, term-time role plus INSET days.
Who we are looking for:
You are an enthusiastic and committed educator with Qualified Teacher Status and experience in delivering engaging, effective lessons. Ideally, you have worked in the independent sector and have experience preparing pupils for selective entrance exams. You're flexible, organised, and a strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team. You set high standards for pupil achievement and behaviour, and you're keen to contribute fully to school life. Most importantly, you bring warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
