About the role
At Hendon Prep School, you will take on the exciting role of Class Teacher with a specialism in Science, inspiring young minds and preparing pupils for scholarship exams and entry into selective senior schools. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons, tracking and supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a dynamic and collaborative teaching team. Beyond the classroom, you'll play an active role in school life--accompanying educational trips, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, and promoting pupil wellbeing and safety at all times.
This is a part-time (0.6), permanent role with a proposed start date in January 2026.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who is passionate about science and primary education. You'll bring strong communication skills, a sound academic background, and the ability to teach science confidently up to Key Stage 2. Your ability to manage behaviour effectively, embrace innovation, and work collaboratively will make you a valued member of our school community.
