Are you an enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting Key Stage 2 pupils? A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Nottingham is looking for a committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team after the October half-term break.

The Role

This is a full-time position working across Key Stage 2 classes, providing valuable support to both teachers and pupils. You will help deliver engaging lessons, offer one-to-one and small group support, and play an active role in promoting positive learning behaviours. The role is ideal for anyone seeking hands-on classroom experience, especially those considering teacher training in the future.

Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 Deliver targeted interventions for individuals and small groups Contribute to pupil assessments and monitor progress Promote positive attitudes and engagement within lessons Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised environment

Requirements

Experience working with children in a primary school, ideally within KS2 Good literacy and numeracy skills Confident communication and teamwork abilities A proactive, patient and professional approach A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification would be advantageous
