We have a vacancy for a Teacher - this is a full time position on a fixed term basis to provide maternity leave cover.



Swalcliffe Park School CIO is a non-maintained charitable incorporated organisation specialising in day and residential education and care for high functioning students with ASC (10-19 years). We currently have 74 students on role and have been judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for both Education (2025) and Residential Care (2025). The school also has Beacon School Status Autism Accreditation and an Enhanced Practitioner Commendation.

Due to our growing student numbers and a promotion, we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to join our outstanding multi-disciplinary team. Previous experience of working with this population is desirable but not essential. We are particularly interested in:Key stage 2 teachers willing to operate a primary model class for KS2 and KS3 students and possibly core subject teaching (English, Maths and Science to lower ability students across the school).
Special school teachers willing to offer a range of subjects.


Our maximum class size is six students to two adults. The behaviour and engagement of students is exceptional.

Teachers' terms and conditions: Main scale plus SEN allowance 1 or 2 depending on experience and or qualifications. Teachers' pension and a range of additional benefits.





We are looking for someone to commence with us on a fixed term basis from January 2026 for up to a year in the first instance.
