Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping children achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with teachers to assist in the delivery of lessons and provide additional support to students, particularly those with special educational needs.

Responsibilities



Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individual students. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce learning concepts. Working efficiently and effectively with 4 to 5 Kumon students at a time to provide instruction through utilization of the Kumon Method and worksheets Ensuring Student classwork is completed and corrected to 100% Ensure proper study habits and work skills are being developed and train the students in centre routine Provide Instructor with written or verbal feedback, as needed, based on student observations and/or student performance on worksheets Provide daily feedback to parents on study plan and their performance Assessing oral reading ability with reading students and providing necessary feedback Marking student worksheets

Job requirement:



Grade 8 or above for GCSE and A levels in English and Maths Keen interest in tutoring young children (prior experience is desirable, but not essential) No Teaching experience is required, training will be given to the successful candidate.

Sixth form students preferred

Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment, close attention to detail, should be dependable and punctual

This job will be only be suitable who are in/ around to N3 area and can easily commute to the center.



Experience



Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Good Maths and English Skills Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with students and staff. A genuine desire to educate and inspire young learners is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: As per National minimum wage

Expected hours: No more than 7 hours per week
