Primary Teaching Assistant Huddersfield
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: 385 - 3100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a primary school setting? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic individuals to support primary schools across Huddersfield.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with teachers to support learning in Early Years, KS1, or KS2
Provide one-on-one and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential
Assist children with phonics, numeracy, and literacy activities
Support pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs
Help create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment

About You:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children (preferred but not essential)
A passion for supporting young learners and helping them thrive
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (desirable but not required)
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
