This full-time term-time (33 weeks per year) permanent role is available immediately.

We need a team of talented individuals to support our teaching and research, and in training the next generation of top scientists. Working as part of the HLS St Luke\xe2\x80\x99s and hospital sites team in Technical Services the role holder provides direct support to research and teaching activities at the St Luke\xe2\x80\x99s campus for the Medical Imaging department and Medical Science, Neurosciences and BMBS undergraduate programmes.

The primary function of this role is to provide laboratory support for the Graduate School of Education and Medical Sciences teaching laboratory on the St. Luke\xe2\x80\x99s Campus. You will support academic staff in the delivery of undergraduate teaching in medical science, genetics/genomics, neuroscience, pharmacology, medical imaging and postgraduate science teaching from 08.30am until 18.30 (our extended teaching day).

The working pattern can be flexible with general working hours being 9:00-16:00. The role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the laboratories and will work in conjunction with the Laboratory Management Team and Laboratory Assistants in delivering a safe and efficient working environment for staff and students.

The post is campus-based 36.5 hours per week for the 33 weeks of term a year and the working pattern may include a start time of 8.00am or a finish time of 19:00pm.
