Grade UE07: 40,497 to 48,149 per annum



College of Science and Engineering / School of Informatics



Full time: 35 hours per week



Open ended: permanent



The Opportunity:



The primary purpose of this role is to maintain, develop, operationally manage and actively contribute to the well-founded Robotics Laboratories within the School, established as part of the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics. The majority of the equipment and facilities is based in the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour where the appointee will be based.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



Background in robotics, such as from a specialised degree Experience working in an industrial or research environment, involving the operation of robots and complex hardware-software ecoysystems Experience managing a research laboratory Experience in working with humanoid and other complex mobile robot platforms Project management and communication skills
