Synergy Farm Health is a progressive, dedicated independent Farm Animal Veterinary Practice based in Rampisham, Dorset where we provide a broad range of services to our clients in Dorset, Devon, Somerset & Wiltshire.

We are looking to recruit a lab technician to play a key role in helping the Synergy Laboratory team deliver excellence on a daily basis.

This is a full time role but there may be flexibility in hours for the right candidate.

At Synergy Farm Health we rely on lab technicians to accurately analyse samples to enhance the service we offer our clients through our vets and their clinical work, support scientific research and to assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. We have a commitment to provide high quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic scientific and laboratory admin practices to keep up with the pace of a busy veterinary laboratory and work well alongside our small team. Full training will be provided.

Preferred skills and qualifications for the role include:

Post-16 study in biological science or a related discipline. Experience of working in a laboratory or similar environment Knowledge of laboratory safety measures. Ability to work both independently and on your own initiative with a high attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills are vital for this role.

Pay: 24,420.00-25,500.00 per year
