THG Labs Acheson offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge, Frome and Radstock - including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 98,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site!

We are now searching for positive and pro-active QC Laboratory Technician to join our fast-paced Quality team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm & 2:15pm-10:45pm

Responsibilities

This hands-on role is key to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality, with the focus on testing raw materials and bulk products in line with GMP and CoSHH regulations.

Test raw materials and production batches; maintain accurate records. Perform quality control checks and 24-hour bulk testing. Conduct microbiological logging and effluent sampling. Calibrate and validate lab equipment. Assist in investigating non-conformance and raising NCR's. Prepare and manage colour dilutions and lab consumables. Monitor courier services and external lab communications. Support cross-functional teams and follow SOPs/WINs
This role also involves supporting various QC processes, ensuring stock accuracy across lab areas, and maintaining compliance with industry standards

Requirements

Experience working in a similar role is preferred by not essential as full training will be given
