Your new role



An exciting opportunity for a

Laboratory Technician II

to join our team. Responsible for Supporting the development, execution, and documentation of analytical methods for testing cell therapy products. Perform routine analytical testing, such as flow cytometry, RT-qPCR and other cell-based assays. You'll also assist in assay development, optimisation and qualification. Carry out daily laboratory housekeeping duties including cleaning, organisation and inventory management. Work closely with the Facilities department to ensure laboratory equipment is maintained in accordance with RoslinCT's policies and procedures. Complete non-GMP, pGMP, and GMP quality-related documentation, ensuring strict adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating SOPs and standard forms to maintain compliance with both regulatory requirements and internal standards. Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental data, preparing clear and accurate technical reports and supporting documentation for internal and external use.

About you



Working experience with laboratory analytical techniques supporting the execution of routine assays in a regulated environment. Previous involvement in laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep and reagent preparation. Prior experience working in a CDMO manufacturing-focused environment would be desirable. Able to consistently follow procedures under company and regulatory standards to continually promote a right-first-time approach. A strong communicator, whether in written or verbal form, to various RoslinCT employees and customers. A positive, can-do attitude, with a determination to completing work to a high standard under time pressure.

Qualifications



A Degree in Life Sciences, or a related subject.
