Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and with a focus on product testing. This role involves executing tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of our products. The Test Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems.

Skills:

Mechanical / electrical engineering qualification (experience with PLC operation preferrable)

Good understanding of basic mechanical and electrical principles

Mechanical & electrical fault finding

Good interpersonal skills and experience with customer interface

Dynamic, ambitious, presentable

Ability to work in a calm considered manner whilst under pressure

Self-motivator with industrious work ethic

Analytical and technical skills

Computer literate (Microsoft Office adept in Excel, Word, Outlook)

Flexible, hands-on approach with willingness to work additional hours if required

Good report writing skills

Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and customers

Positive outlook and approachable manner

Keen to take ownership and responsibility of assigned tasks

Technical customer support through phone, e-mail and on-line portals

Able to independently run & produce Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) reports

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year
