Coquet Island Shellfish Ltd are a seafood processing company specialising in langoustine and scallop which are procured from around the United Kingdom for export to the European continental market with some home sales.

Job Summary

We are seeking Belt Crew labourers for a busy seafood processing facility to join our dayshift. You will be working alongside a dedicated and friendly team who work hard to ensure production requirements are achieved. Overtime is frequently required to meet production deadlines.

Immediate start available for the right candidates.

The Role

Feeding product onto the Nitrogen Belt for freezing Placing frozen product into secondary packaging Filming and adding cardboard sleeves to packed product Boxing up and palletising products Checking all products are labelled correctly Set up machines (start-up and shut down checks), full training provided Preparing finished product for dispatch and delivery Ensuring all products being loaded matches the relevant paperwork Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment Requirement to process products when not freezing products
