Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks effectively. Operate hand tools and machinery as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to management. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction or industrial setting. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
