Labourer - A&P Tyne

Day shift 0700-1500hrs Monday to Thursday and 0700-1430hrs Friday

This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised.

So what will you do?

This role is 100% site-based as part of our team in our busy heavy fabrication area You will be hands-on mainly responsible for cleanliness across the facility using a combination of ride-on and push-along cleaning machines For the right candidate, this is more than just a cleaning role. We're offering a clear development path into more skilled positions within the business. Over time, if you're looking for development you will have the opportunity to be trained and certified to Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT), use Scissor Lifts and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and to work safely at heights and in confined spaces You'll have the opportunity to grow your experience within an industrial environment

And what are we looking for?

A positive attitude and willingness to learn Someone reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail Experience in an industrial or fabrication environment would be good but its not essential You'll need to be physically fit as you'll be working in a demanding, heavy-duty environment in all elements indoors and outdoors 100% commitment to health and safety at all times

Due to the nature of what we do for some of the customers that we work with, some roles working for A&P are subject to security control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and your place of birth may limit those roles you can perform with us.

You must also undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check before your employment starts, which will include a basic DBS check.
