Colours Building Ltd

is a well-established Principal Contractor with a strong presence in the public sector. We operate mainly across the South-East of England, including Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and outer London. However, we are currently on the lookout for Sub-contractors for an upcoming Project in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction and maintenance projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Duties

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment. Operate basic hand tools and power tools as required for various tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed. Maintain an organised work area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the assembly and disassembly of structures, scaffolding, or other installations. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.
