Overview

We're looking for a reliable

Labourer

to help with renovation and clean-up work at our studio in Melksham.
The work mainly involves

stripping plaster, bagging debris, and taking materials to the tip

, plus general site tidying.

This is a short-term role (approx. 2 weeks) but there may be opportunities for more work in the future for the right person.

Must have a full UK driving licence

Access to a car

(or be fully insured to drive my vehicle)*

Previous labouring experience required

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Happy to do

tip runs and general errands

Duties

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance, including cleaning and organising work areas. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as required. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision. Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Skills

Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance practices is advantageous. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team. Good communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
