Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our sales initiatives. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and fostering positive relationships with customers. The hours are between 21-28 hours a week which can be fixed at the higher amount if needed for the correct applicant.

Please note you must be fit and active, we are on our feet for seven hours a day, the stock can also be heavy.

A good amount of common sense, good telephone manner, being able to see what the team needs and being able to assist and be able to prioritise are essential along with a great sense of humour.

Responsibilities



Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences. Provide knowledgeable information about products, promotions, and services to enhance customer experience. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that displays are well-stocked and tidy. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment. Participate in training sessions to develop product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements



Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy for processing transactions and managing inventory essential and social media skills would be an advantage. A genuine interest in customer service and a desire to exceed customer expectations.

Pay: 11.44-12.50 per hour
