Set in beautiful surroundings overlooking Chepstow Castle and the River Wye, Dean Close St John's Prep School offers exceptional coeducational schooling for children aged 3 - 13 years.
Childhood at St John's is more than an education, it's a feeling of freedom - a chance to climb trees, get muddy knees and light fires, to take risks and to be challenged, to laugh and build lifelong friendships. We believe that having the independence to explore their learning in a variety of environments is an essential ingredient of every child's educational journey.
The St John's Journey begins at Kindergarten, where children learn to become school ready. Not only do they gently acquire the basics of reading and writing, they develop the interpersonal skills that will set them on the path to a happy and balanced school life - enjoying the adventure through Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Prep, and leaving as grounded, thoughtful leaders of tomorrow.
