Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and sociable individual with experience in agricultural land drainage to serve our existing clients in Scotland and develop new work.
The successful candidate will be key to leading our growth into Scotland and beyond.
Land Drainage Consultancy Ltd
LDC is a small, growing team of land drainage and soils experts based in Yorkshire, England but working throughout the UK and Ireland. We specialise in the effects of large scale infrastructure projects on agricultural land, in particular land drainage and soils.
Other work includes private farm/estate drainage, environmental schemes, GIS, CAD, drone surveys and more.
The ideal candidate should:
Have a background in agriculture, land drainage and/or soil science Have experience working on linear construction projects in the countryside (pipelines, buried cables, OHL etc.) Be proactive, able to work on their own and develop business Be prepared to work from home, travel around Scotland and occasionally into England
The Role
Carry out land drainage surveys throughout Scotland Liaise with landowners, land agents and developers Develop new business in Scotland, through networking and marketing Build a team of land drainage and soils consultants/surveyors and develop LDC's Scotland presence Report to the Directors
Package and Remuneration
Remuneration dependent on candidate's experience Flexible working hours Subcontractors considered if experience is right
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
