Are you an experienced property solicitor or legal executive with great leadership skills? If so, we would love for you to come and join our Strategic Asset Management team.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a new Land & Property Manager. As Land & Property Manager you\xe2\x80\x99ll lead a team specialising in land and property legal transaction services. The team is dispersed across our operating regions, so you\xe2\x80\x99ll be confident leading remotely, although you\xe2\x80\x99ll also encourage and enjoy face to face working when the team can get together.

The team is responsible for ensuring that Aster\xe2\x80\x99s land and property assets are effectively managed, complying with current legislation and good practice.

The responsibilities for the team will include, land transfers, deeds of easement, licences, restrictive covenant enforcement, resolution of boundary disputes, freehold management enquiries and restrictions on title, and often the enquiries can be unique and complex, so you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be able to effectively lead the team in managing these transactions.

The role will also see you providing informed legal advice and support to internal stakeholders, representing Aster as a relationship manager for third parties, ensuring the team\xe2\x80\x99s procedures are current and effective, and undertaking management and performance reporting. and . You will enjoy the variety of the role and will support your team\xe2\x80\x99s growth and understanding of all transactions they complete.

About you

You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be an experienced legal professional, holding either a CILEx level 6 qualification or a degree in law, and you\xe2\x80\x99ll possess significant working knowledge and understanding of housing, land law and the conveyancing process.

You will be able to demonstrate current leadership experience, ideally working with a dispersed team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have a natural coaching style and will ensure that knowledge is shared to support with the more complex and challenging transactions that the team undertakes.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be an excellent communicator, able to build strong working relationships with internal and external business stakeholders. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be seen as a subject matter expert by your colleagues and they\xe2\x80\x99ll feel confident collaborating with you.

You won\xe2\x80\x99t be phased by deadlines and targets and your experience to date will demonstrate your IT and analytical skills.

Our operating region covers Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall and London and our boundaries are expanding, so you won\xe2\x80\x99t mind travelling as required from time to time.

As this role can be very flexible, you can base yourself from home or one of our HUB offices, whichever suits you. You will ideally be based in the South West or close by.
